The Baylor equestrian team (5-4) earned an 11-4 win over Delaware State and followed that up with a 12-3 victory over Tennessee Martin Friday at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.

The Bears continued to widen their lead in Equitation over Fences, winning 2-1, respectively. Taylor Brown and Kendra Vicary each notched wins for the Bears. Vicary's score of 85 earned her MVP honors and resulted in the Bears having a 6-1 advantage through half of the events.

The Bears won Horsemanship 3-1. Allison Orosz, Lindsay Douglas, Chelsea Retmier each earned points for Baylor, with Orosz picking up MVP honors.

Baylor was able to hold onto their lead despite an attempted comeback by the Hornets, as the reigning competition resulted in a 2-2 tie. Madelyn Mooney and Amber Mooney each scored for the Bears. Amber Mooney's score of 71 earned her MVP honors and the Bears secured an 11-4 victory over the Hornets.

The Bears continued to dominate against the University of Tennessee Martin winning Equitation on the Flat 4-0. Heather Healy, Whitney McIlvain, Melanie Appel and Mary Smitson each scored points for Baylor. Healy's 88-78 victory was enough to earn her MVP honors.

Baylor picked up two points in Equitation over Fences against UTM, earning a 2-1 win. Heather Healy and Kelsey Ehlers each picked up a point for the Bears. Ehlers' 85-79 win earned her MVP honors and resulted, once again, in Baylor having a 6-1 advantage through half of the events.

The Bears continued to broaden their lead against UTM winning Horsemanship 3-1. Allison Orosz, Lindsay Douglas, Ashley Garza and Meghan Murphy each scored points for Baylor. Garza's score of 73 earned her MVP honors.

Baylor won the final Reigning event 3-1. Katie Buss, Maddy Mooney and Amber Mooney each notched points for the Bears. Buss' 72-69 victory earned her MVP honors. The Bears finished the match with a 12-4 victory over the Skyhawks.

The Bears will be back in action Saturday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. against SMU.
