WACO - Missouri (6-8-2, 4-4) scored two goals in the game's final 13 minutes of play to break a scoreless tie and defeat Baylor (10-6-2, 3-5) 2-0 at Betty Lou Mays Field Friday night. The loss breaks the Bears' undefeated streak at home, making them 8-1-2 on the year.

"I thought we battled pretty hard tonight," head coach Marci Jobson said. "Give Missouri credit because they finished their chances. We just have to rebound and come out ready to play on Sunday."

Goalkeeper Courtney Seelhorst made six saves on the night, tying her season high, while Vic Hoffman took a season high five shots.

Baylor nearly took the lead in the 31st minute, when a loose ball was collected by Christine Clark and fired towards the net, only to see a Missouri defender clear it off the line. The two teams played to a scoreless tie in the opening half, with Bears holding an 8-5 edge in shots.

Lisa Sliwinski nearly put BU up by one in the 61st minute, as her shot from six yards out went wide of the far post by just inches.

Seelhorst came up huge in the 74th minute when a header from Alysha Bonnick seemed to be heading for a sure goal, but Seelhorst laid out high and left to collect the ball for the save.

Missouri, who outshot Baylor 14-5 in the second half, broke the tie in the 78th minute. Alysha Bonnick notched her ninth goal of the season, winning a one-on-one ball and slotting the ball into the near post from eight yards out for a 1-0 lead.

The Tigers added one more in the 84th minute when Danielle Nottingham's apparent cross floated into the far post net for her first goal of the year.

Baylor had just two shots on goal in the game, marking a season low.

The Bears will host Iowa State (6-10-2, 1-7) on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. for Senior Day. All fans will get in free with a ticket stub from Saturday's football game against K-State, while the first 200 fans will receive free hot dogs and kids 12 and under will get in free.
