In Colorado's seven Big 12 matches, they have been swept four times, but have taken the other three to five sets. They have won two of those three matches, beating Kansas and Kansas State at the Coors Events Center, but losing at Texas A&M. The two conference wins match CU's total from all of last season, as they finished league play at 2-18 in 2009.

The Buffaloes returned just two starters from last season, while bringing in 14 newcomers. Head coach Liz Kritzka made wholesale changes coming into her second year at the helm, holding onto just outside hitter Kerra Schroeder and right side Rosie Steinhaus. Schroeder currently leads CU on offense with 187 kills and 3.74 kills per set. Junior transfer from George Washington, Alyssa Valentine, serves as the team's setter, averaging 8.84 assists per set.

On defense, libero Megan Beckwith is averaging 3.94 digs per set, while Nichole Ludlow leads the team in blocking at 0.84 per set.

THE TOP FIVE

- Baylor enters the match at Colorado having won two of its last three matches, including a five-set win over Texas A&M in College Station on Wednesday. In the match, Baylor had a season-best five players with at least 10 kills, led by Torri Campbell's 18 and Elizabeth's Graham 14. Briana Tolbert added 11 and Ashlie Christenson and Allison King each had 10.

- The win over Texas A&M produced career and season-highs for key Baylor contributors. Torri Campbell tied a career-high with a season-best 18 kills, adding a season-best eight blocks in the match. Briana Tolbert also had her best match of the season, tying a career high with 11 kills, while Alison King tied a career mark with three blocks.

- Much like last season, Elizabeth Graham has significantly stepped up her offensive game in conference play. The senior is hitting .394 with 60 kills and just 10 errors in 127 total attempts against Big 12 opponents. In the last three matches alone, Graham has 38 kills and just three errors in only 66 attempts for a .530 hitting percentage.

- Caitlyn Trice has been a force in the back row for BU, leading the Bears to the best total in the Big 12 and second-best total in the NCAA at 18.91 digs per set, entering the week. She has recorded double digits in all 17 matches, including eight with 20-plus and four with 30-plus digs. Individually, she is ranked first in the Big 12 and 15th nationally at 5.38 digs per set.

- After a 2-21 start to the all-time series between Baylor and Colorado, the Bears have won each of the last six meetings. BU has swept CU in all four meetings over the past two seasons.
