WACO, Texas - Baylor seniors Caitlyn Trice and Elizabeth Graham each earned ESPN Academic All-District VI honors, as announced by College Sports Information Directors of America Thursday. The award marks the fifth consecutive year that the Bears have had at least one player recognized, and the first time since 1999 with two honorees in one season.

Trice, a health science studies/pre-physical therapy major from Sugar Land, Texas, has excelled in her libero role this season for Baylor. Her digs-per-set average of 5.22 is the No. 1-ranked total in the Big 12 Conference and a top-15 total nationally. Trice's back-row defense has helped Baylor to the best team ranking in the conference at 18.60 dps, as well as a top-three mark in the NCAA.

Graham, a general studies major from Leander, Texas, has helped lead the Baylor offense with a team-best .313 hitting-percentage and 242 kills. She also has been one of the best blockers in the conference this season, ranking at the top in total blocks with 123 and second in blocks per set at 1.35.

The award is the first for both Trice and Graham, and the sixth and seventh during the Jim Barnes era which began in 2004.

Baylor (12-12, 5-8 Big 12) returns home after a two-match roadswing to take on Texas A&M as part of back-to-back home matches. The Bears will face the Aggies on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m., then take on Texas next Wednesday, Nov. 10, also at 7 p.m.
