• Baylor improved to 18-7 all-time in NCAA Tournament games and advanced to its second regional championship contest in program history
• The Bears picked up their second win in five tries in the "Sweet Sixteen" round of the NCAA Championship
• Baylor is now 4-1 in its NCAA Tournament history against No. 1 seeds and the Bears have won four-straight contests against top-seeded squads
• Baylor improved to 13-0 with Kelli Griffin, Shanay Washington, Melissa Jones, Morghan Medlock and Brittney Griner in the starting lineup. The Bears are also 15-1 with Jones as a starter, their lone loss coming against Tennessee in the season opener
• Baylor stayed undefeated all-time when Medlock records a double-double (9-0)
• The Bears handed Tennessee its first-ever loss (17-1) when playing a NCAA regional game in the Volunteer State.
• Baylor pushed its record to 7-1 on neutral courts in the 2009-10 campaign
• Baylor became just the eighth team, and second Big 12 squad (Texas), to ever defeat the Lady Vols by double digits and matched the largest margin of victory over Tennessee by any team this year - a 67-52 victory by No. 2 Stanford on Dec. 19
• Baylor was out-rebounded for just the ninth time this season
• Baylor's two-point lead at halftime matched its advantage in the first meeting with Tennessee on November 15 when the Bears were ahead 26-24. The Bears have now led at the half in six of their last eight tilts, including all three NCAA Tournament contests.
• With 27 points and 10 blocks, Griner registered her eighth career double-double and the first since collecting 20 points and 10 blocks against Kansas on Feb. 28
• Griner recorded her 200th career block at the 18:55 mark of the first half, adding to her NCAA single-season record which now stands at 209
• Griner has now blocked at least one shot in 34 of Baylor's 35 contests this season and has produced 31 multiple-block efforts, including seven with double-digit swats
• Griner notched her team-leading 33rd career double-digit scoring affair and 14th 20-point showing to go along with her also squad-high 12th multi-rebound game
• With an 11-for-13 effort from the line, Griner recorded her second-most career free throws made and free throw attempts
• Medlock collected her team second-best seventh double-double of the year with 12 points and 11 rebounds
• Sophomore Terran Condrey matched her season and career high with a pair of three-point field goals in the first half to complete a 3-for-3 showing from the field.
• Jones blocked her fourth shot of the season and second in as many contests with 5:12 left in the game.
