COLUMBIA, Mo. - Follow the Bears Friday through Sunday with live updates from the Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Columbia, Mo. Sunday's events begin in the field at 2 p.m. and on the track at 3 p.m. Results will be posted live as the events finish.

3:00 p.m. | (W) 4x100-meter Relay Finals | DeAna Carson, Tiffany Townsend, Tiana Hood, and Brittany Carr raced the baton around the track to a second-place finish with a time of 44.68. |
3:10 p.m. | (M) 4x100-meter Relay Finals | Marcus Boyd, Whitney Prevost, Courtney Thomas and Trey Harts held off a hard-charging Texas A&M squad to win the Bears first Big 12 outdoor title of 2010. In the process, Baylor set a new Walton Track record of 39.36. |
3:20 p.m. | (W) 3,000-meter Steeplechase Finals | Senior Erin Bedell placed sixth in the race with a time of 10:11.81, while sophomore Kristen Hanselka shaved nearly 14 seconds off her personal-best to place seventh at 10:28.96 to earn her first all-Big 12 honor. |
4:35 p.m. | (W) 400 meters Finals | Despite running from lane one, Diamond Richardson collected a fourth-place finish against a stacked field with a time of 54.03. |
4:40 p.m. | (M) 400 meters Finals | Sophomore Zwede Hewitt clocked a personal-best of 46.14 to place third, just ahead of teammate Michael Liggins who posted a time of 46.50. |
4:50 p.m. | (W) 100 meters Finals | Tiffany Townsend and Brittany Carr each posted season-bests. Townsend placed second in the race at 11.35, while Carr was eighth at 11.72. |
4:55. p.m. | (M) 100 meters Finals | Trey Harts posted a time of 10.42 to place seventh. |
5:05 p.m. | (W) 800 meters | Senior Lauren Simpson finished eighth in the race with a time of 2:17.53 to earn all-Big 12 honors for the first time in her career. |
5:15 p.m. | (M) 800 meters | Senior Chris Gowell ran a season-best of 1:48.96 to place second, while James Gilreath turned in a career-best outdoors of 1:49.36 to place third. |
3:30 p.m. | (W) Shot Put Finals | Freshman Skylar White broke her own school record in the shot put with with a third-place toss of 50-10.75, nearly 10 inches ahead of the previous BU record. |
5:25 p.m. | (W) 400-meter Hurdle Finals | Freshman Christina Holland posted a fourth-place finish from the always-tough lane eight. She earned her first all-Big 12 honor with a time of 58.59. |
5:35 p.m. | (M) 400-meter Hurdle Finals | Freshman Chance Casey also earned his first all-Big 12 honor, placing fifth with a time of 50.65, his career-best. |
5:45 p.m. | (W) 200 meters Finals | Tiffany Townsend earned all-conference honors for the third time on the day with a third-place finish and a season-best time of 23.07 |

6:25 p.m. | (M) 5,000 meters Finals | Robbie Knorr was BU's top finisher in 19th place with a time of 14:41.46, while Ben Haby was three seconds back in 22nd at 14:44.76. |
6:45 p.m. | (W) 4x400-meter Relay Finals | Baylor's women raced to a third-place finish with their second-fastest time of the season. Tiana Hood, Brittany Bruce, Tiffany Townsend, and Diamond Richardson combined for a time of 3:33.66. |
7:00 p.m. | (M) 4x400-meter Relay Finals | In the closest finish of the meet, Baylor's men came up .03 seconds short to finish second with a crew of Zwede Hewitt, Michael Liggins, James Gilreath and Marcus Boyd for a time of 3:04.48. |

1:00 p.m. | (W) 1,500 meters Prelims | Sophomore Cate Westenhover narrowly missed qualifying for the eight-athlete final, placing ninth in the prelims with a career-best time of 4:29.08. Freshman Stephanie Morgan also turned in a personal best with a time of 4:30.46. |
1:20 p.m. | (M) 1,500 meters prelims | Senior Ben Haby finished two spots out of the qualifying for the finals, but shaved two seconds off his previous best with a time of 3:50.33. Gavyn Nero was 12th overall with a time of 3:51.77, while Zac Flowers was 16th at 3:55.57. |
1:40 p.m. | (W) 100-meter Hurdles Prelims | Freshman Christina Holland was fifth in her heat and 15th overall with a time of 14.49. |
2:15 p.m. | (W) 400 meters Prelims | Sophomore Diamond Richardson grabbed the eighth and final qualifying spot with a a second-place finish in her heat at 54.81. Brittany Bruce was 15th overall at 56.78 and Midori Starks was 17th at 58.44. |
2:30 p.m. | (M) 400 meters Prelims | Michael Liggins won the opening heat of five, while Zwede Hewitt won the final heat to each advance to Sunday's final. Liggins posted a time of 46.41, while Hewitt crossed in 46.66. |
2:45 p.m. | (W) 100 meters Prelims | Tiffany Townsend was the third overall qualifier with a time of 11.47, while teammate Brittany Carr claimed the eighth qualifying spot at 11.77. |
3:00 p.m. | (M) 100 meters Prelims | Trey Harts was the lone qualifier for the men with a time of 10.61 to finish second in his heat. Whitney Prevost just missed qualifying despite running a time of 10.49. |
3:00 p.m. | (W) Discus Finals | Freshman Skylar White popped a personal best on her first throw, holding the top spot for much of the competition at 168-5 to finish second. |
3:00 p.m. | (W) High Jump Finals | Transfer Dess Meek cleared 5-07 to earn all-Big 12 honors with a sixth-place finish. |
3:30 p.m. | (W) 800 meters Prelims | Lauren Simpson chopped three seconds off her previous personal best in the 800 meters to qualify for the final with a time of 2:10.25. Freshman Lizzy Whitney posted a personal best of 2:12.71, but was outside of the top eight. |
3:45 p.m. | (M) 800 meters Prelims | Chris Gowell surged at the finish to win his heat with the top overall time of 1:50.13, and Big 12 indoor champ James Gilreath slipped in as the final qualifier with a time of 1:51.56. |

9:00 a.m. | (M) 10,000 meters Finals | Junior Jeff Sadler was the top finisher for Baylor, placing 18th with a personal-best time of 31:05.13. |
5:00 p.m. | (M) Javelin Finals | Junior school record holder Nick Lyons put the Baylor men on the scoreboard with a third-place finish in the javelin. Lyons ripped off a throw of 229-06 in his first throw of the final round to move up two spots. |
