WACO, Texas (AP) - LaceDarius Dunn scored 26 points, including eight straight free throws in the final 2 minutes, as Baylor rallied to beat Colorado 70-66 Saturday.
Perry Jones III added 14 points for the Bears (14-6, 4-3 Big 12), and Quincy Acy had 13 points and nine rebounds.
Alec Burks had 20 points to lead the Buffaloes (14-8, 3-4), who have lost four in a row. Cory Higgins finished with 16 points, and Levi Knutson had 10.
Baylor trailed 35-21 at halftime and didn't take its first lead until Dunn hit a 14-foot jumper to make it 58-57 with 2:55 remaining. A.J. Walton then drained a 3-pointer to push the Bears' advantage to four with 2:23 to play, and Baylor held on to end a four-game losing streak against Big 12 North opponents.
Baylor opened the second half with a 21-9 run behind eight points from Jones to cut the deficit to 44-42. The Bears got within a bucket on two other occasions before Dunn hit a pair of free throws with 4:49 remaining for the game's first tie.
Colorado raced out to a 14-point halftime lead, outplaying the taller Bears in the paint and taking advantage of 13 Baylor turnovers, which it turned into 12 points. The Buffaloes held a 21-19 rebounding edge, and Higgins and Knutson each hit two 3-pointers.
Dunn, who is second on Baylor's all-time scoring list with 2,097 points, moved to within 92 of Terry Teagle's school-record 2,189. He needs 160 to surpass Texas Tech's Andre Emmett (2,256) as the Big 12's career leader.
