- Baylor improved its record to 14-5 overall, after its fourth consecutive win on Tuesday in a sweep of North Texas. The Bears are sitting sixth in the Big 12 at 3-3.
- Baylor is 18-14 all-time against Iowa State, while compiling a 10-5 record in Ames. However, Baylor won the first 10 road meetings against the Cyclones, but have lost the last five.
- After compiling an 0-3 start and .140 hitting percentage in Big 12 play, Baylor is 3-0 and hitting at a .248 clip in its last three league matches.
