THE RUNDOWN

Baylor returns a total of 14 All-Big 12 performers from the 2010 Big 12 Indoor Championships, including defending champions James Gilreath (800m) and the men's distance medley relay team that set the meet record.
The Bears have met NCAA automatic qualifying marks in three events thus far in 2011. Tiffany Townsend (200m) and Skylar White (shot put) have each earned an NCAA spot berth. For the men, the 4x400-meter relay claimed their spot as well.
Baylor has a total of 10 individual marks ranked among the nation's top 25 heading into the Big 12 Indoor Championships. Of those marks, six are ranked in the top 10 among NCAA competitors.
Heading into the Big 12 Indoor Championships, the Bears have 26 individuals ranked among the top 10 in the conference. The Bears have conference leaders in the men's 1,000 meters (Gavyn Nero) and the men's distance medley relay.
After breaking the BU indoor and outdoor shot put records a total of seven times in 2010, sophomore Skylar White picked up right where she left off this season. In her first meet of the season, White unleashed a record throw of 55-8.25.
Along with breaking the school shot put record and winning the Texas A&M Challenge with her toss of 55-8.25, Skylar White was also named the Big 12 Women's Field Athlete of the Week. She ranks third in the Big 12 and seventh in the NCAA.
One of the biggest bright spots among a talented group of freshmen has been hurdler Tiffani McReynolds. Along with breaking the BU 60m-hurdle record four times, McReynolds ranks second in the Big 12 and 20th nationally at 8.26.
Baylor has had eight individual event winners over the course of the indoor season, including six at the first of two Texas A&M Conference Challenge meets. The Bears then combined to win two more events at the second A&M Challenge.
Baylor added two mid-year freshmen transfers to the roster in Gabriel El Hanbli on the men's side and Kehri Jones on the women's. €ˆEl Hanbli is currently ranked 16th in the 600 yards with a time of 1:11.45.
Head coach Todd Harbour signed a strong recruiting class on National Signing Day, including five men and nine women with state and national champion accolades among them.
