- Senior libero Allison King is within striking distance of the BU record for career digs. King now has a rally-era record of 1,551, and is just 24 behind Cory Sivertson's (1991-94) all-time record.
- King is having another fine season in the back row for Baylor, earning Top Defensive Player honors at the Baylor Classic. She ranks second in the Big 12 with 4.70 digs per set.
- Senior Brittany Ridenour had a career-high 49 assists in a five-set win over Northern Colorado on her way to earning Baylor Classic MVP honors. She recorded two weekend double-doubles.
- Zoe Adom and Briana Tolbert led the Baylor offense over the weekend, each earning all-tournament honors. Tolbert hit .397 overall, and Adom had a career-high 19 kills in the finale.
- Baylor is one of seven Big 12 teams with either one or zero losses through the first two weekends. Kansas, Iowa State and Texas A&M all remain undefeated.
- Against College of Charleston, Tolbert turned in the Big 12's third-best hitting percentage of the year at .714 (16-1-21). Meeting the statistical €ˆminimums, it ranks fifth all-time at BU.
- Despite losing seven letterwinners to graduation, Baylor reloaded with five incoming freshman, a junior college transfer and former Lady Bear basketball player Melissa Jones.
