WACO, Texas - Saturday's men's basketball matchup between No. 6 Baylor and Texas is sold out, the Baylor Department of Athletics announced Wednesday. The game is scheduled to tip at 12:05 p.m. CST on CBS; Verne Lundquist (play-by-play) and Clark Kellogg (analyst) will call the game.
The only remaining tickets are for Baylor faculty, staff and students, and those will be distributed at the door on game day, just as they are for all home games.
Baylor snapped its two-game losing streak Tuesday with a 77-65 road win at Oklahoma, improving its program-best start to 18-2. Texas leads the all-time series 157-79, but Baylor has won four of the last six meetings. Saturday will mark only the fourth time in 237 series meetings that Baylor is ranked.
It is the ninth Ferrell Center sellout in Scott Drew's nine-year tenure at Baylor and the second consecutive advance sellout this season. Last Saturday's game against Missouri was the first advance sellout in program history.
