• The win extends Baylor's non-conference Ferrell Center win streak to 58. BU's last non-conference home loss came on Nov. 19, 2006 vs. 12th-ranked Purdue in the Preseason WNIT championship game.
• Today's attendance of 8,158 is the largest season home opening crowd since 2005 vs. UCLA (9,065) and the second-largest all-time for a season opener.
• Baylor leads the series with Lamar 6-1.
• Baylor is 79-4 over its last 83 games.
• BU is now 31-8 all-time in season openers, 11-2 under head coach Kim Mulkey. The Lady Bears are 21-2 in Ferrell Center season openers, 13-0 under Mulkey.
