WACO, Texas - Baylor, ranked No. 9 in the final AP Top 25 poll of the 2011-12 season, is making its fourth postseason appearance in the last five seasons under head coach Scott Drew.
The Bears, led by All-Big 12 performers Quincy Acy, Pierre Jackson and Perry Jones III, rose to as high as No. 3 in the nation after its school-record 17-0 start. Throughout the course of February, Baylor was followed by three separate All-Access groups - ESPNU, CBS Sports and Five Star Basketball. ESPNU aired in mid-February, while CBS Sports debuted Monday night.
