Women's Tennis Falters At Jack Kramer Intercollegiate

ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. - The Baylor women's tennis duo of Victoria Kisialeva and Blair Shankle could not push through to the semifinal round at the Jack Kramer Intercollegiate on Saturday.

The Baylor tandem, seeded No. 1, lost to the event's sixth-seed, Michaela Capannolo and Yuki Chiang of Pepperdine, 8-6, in the quarterfinal round. The defeat drops the duo's record to 9-2 for the fall season.

In singles action, Makenzie Craft fell to Courtney Dolehide of UCLA, 4-6, 6-1, 1-0(5). Meanwhile, Shankle picked up a consolation singles win over USC's Ellie Yates, 7-6, 6-3.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Lady Bears will play consolation matches against opponents to be determined on Sunday at the Jack Kramer Intercollegiate.
