
WBB's Nina Davis Makes it 3 in a Row

IRVING, Texas - Nina Davis (Baylor), Nneka Enemkpali (Texas) and Bryanna Fernstrom (Iowa State) were chosen for Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball weekly awards, as selected by a media panel. Davis picked up her third-consecutive player of the week honor after earning seven freshman awards last season. Enemkpali was named player of the week for the second time this season and fifth time in her career. It was her sixth total weekly award. Fernstrom received her second freshman recognition.
Phillips 66 Big 12 Co-Players of the Week

Nina Davis led No. 9 Baylor to victories over No. 19 Syracuse and No. 18 Michigan State to claim the championship trophy in the Florida Sunshine Classic. The sophomore forward averaged 20.5 points and 13.0 rebounds en route to earning tournament MVP honors. Against Syracuse, she scored 26 points and pulled down a career-high-tying 17 rebounds while dishing out two assists. Davis narrowly missed another double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds in the victory over Michigan State. She is averaging a team-high 22.8 points while hauling down a team-leading 8.5 rebounds on the season. Davis ranks No. 2 in the Big 12 in scoring and No. 3 in rebounding.
Nneka Enemkpali, Texas, F, 6-1, Sr, Pflugerville, Texas
Nneka Enemkpali averaged 19.5 points and 13.5 rebounds to guide No. 3 Texas to a 10-0 start with wins over McNeese State and No. 4 Texas A&M. She scored 18 points on 9-of-13 shooting with 14 rebounds in 28 minutes against McNeese State. Enemkpali then Led UT to its third win over a top-10 opponent this season with 21 points (7-of-12 FG) and 13 rebounds in 32 minutes against Texas A&M in the inaugural SEC/Big 12 Challenge. It marked the 26th double-double and ninth 20-point performance of her career. The senior forward leads the Big 12 in rebounding (9.6 rpg) and has recorded four consecutive double-doubles.
Phillips 66 Big 12 Freshman of the Week
Bryanna Fernstrom, Iowa State, C, 6-5, Center City, Minn.
Bryanna Fernstrom recorded the first double-double of her career with 20 points and 11 rebounds in 20 minutes of play against Fairfield. The freshman's 11 boards were a career-high while she tallied the second 20-point performance of her career. Fernstrom was 7-of-11 from the field (63.6 percent), 2-of-2 from long range and 4-of-4 from the charity stripe as Iowa State downed the Stags 76-63.
