WACO, Texas -The 19th-ranked Baylor women's tennis team will continue a nine-match home stand against No. 22 Rice at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Hurd Tennis Center.

On the season, the Lady Bears are 6-1 after dropping a 7-0 decision against No. 2 Florida on Saturday. Baylor's lineup features 38th-ranked Kiah Generette, who is 4-2 in dual-match play. Blair Shankle and Victoria Kisialevaare also listed as the 37th- ranked doubles pairing. The duo has compiled a 5-1 record for the season.

Rice holds a 2-2 record on the year, after falling to No. 1 Stanford, 5-2, on Saturday.

The last time these two teams met, Baylor took a 4-3 win on Jan. 30, 2011 in Waco. The Lady Bears are 6-12 in the all-time series against Rice.

After facing Rice, BU will continue play at home against Vanderbilt at 1 p.m. on Feb. 15.

Prior to the match, Baylor players and staff will hold another session of the Baylor Cub Tennis program. Children 11-year of age and younger can come to the Hurd Tennis Center for free tennis instruction at noon.
