BAYLOR POSTGAME NOTES

MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• Baylor held Nebraska to 16 points in the first half, the lowest of any Baylor opponent this season and fewest by BU opponent since Bears led Texas Tech 40-15 at the half on 2/27/12.
• Baylor played the last 5 minutes of the 1st half without Cory Jefferson, Isaiah Austin or Kenny Chery, who were all sitting with 2 fouls. The Bears built their lead from 19-11 to 29-16 over those 5 minutes.
• Baylor is now 26-9 in postseason (conference and national) tournaments over the last six seasons (14-4 last three years).
• Baylor is now 13-4 over the last two seasons in March/April.

• Senior forward Cory Jefferson (16 points) recorded his 27th-double figure scoring effort of the season and the 57th of his career.
• Sophomore forward Rico Gathers (11 points) reached double figures in scoring for the 9th time this season and 14th time in his career.
Brady Heslip set a Baylor NCAA tournament record in free throws made and attempted, going 10-of-10 from the FT line.
• Austin had a career high 10 free-throw attempts and a career high 8 free throws made.
Royce O'Neale (10 rebounds) has posted double-digit rebounds in 6 of his last 8 games after not doing so in any of his previous 28 games at Baylor.
