Baylor Match Notes
WACO, Texas - Baylor began the season 2-1 at the Hampton Inn Waco North Baylor Invitational over the weekend, and the Bears will play three matches in three nights beginning by playing host to Rice Tuesday at 6 p.m.
From there, Baylor will travel to San Marcos, Texas to take on Texas State Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and Wichita State Thursday at 5 p.m. at TXST's Strahan Coliseum Thursday.
Rice and Texas State each started the season at 2-1 while Wichita State enters with a 1-2 record.
The Bears defeated Abilene Christian and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi before falling to the University of Portland at this weekend's home tournament. Andie Malloy had 49 kills in three matches for Baylor while Tola Itiola led the tournament with 13 blocks and added 20 kills offensively.
