TOP QUOTE #1
"Maggie looked really good the last 2,000 meters. She moved hard and finished well. I think she felt really good about it. That is the first time she has broken 20 minutes. It is good place for her to be at this time of the year." ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" head coach Todd Harbour on Maggie Montoya
TOP QUOTE #2
"Peyton was a little under the weather today, but it was still a PR for her, so a good day for her time-wise, but she felt she could have been a little higher place-wise. Alex Davis took a big step today. She is continuing to improve after her injury this summer. " ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" Harbour said of his other top runners
TOP QUOTE #3
"Overall, we got a lot accomplished. It probably doesn't look that way on the scoreboard with the 30th-place finish, but I am very optimistic. We have the talent to accomplish a lot, but we have to keep moving forward. It was a solid field, but we are not that far way. If we make the same progress we made the last four weeks in the next four weeks, we are going to be fine." ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" Harbour on where his team stands heading into the postseason
WHAT'S NEXT
Next weekend, the men and women will both be off from action in preparation of the Big 12 Championship on Oct. 31 in Stillwater, Okla.
