WACO, Texas - The Baylor volleyball team (13-6, 1-4 Big 12) faces off against the West Virginia Mountaineers (5-13, 0-5 Big 12) on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 2:30 p.m. CT in the WVU Coliseum.
Looking to bounce back from a tough loss at home to No. 9 Kansas, the Bears hope to earn their first road conference win of the year, facing WVU who has been held winless in Big 12 play this season.
With what would be the team's 14th win of the season, first-year head coach Ryan McGuyre can match last season's overall win mark with a victory over the Mountaineers.
The Bears lead the all-time series with West Virginia by 6-3. Baylor has had success in Morgantown as well, holding a 2-1 advantage over the Mountaineers.
West Virginia is currently on a three-match win streak over the Bears, though, with the last BU win coming in Oct. 2013 at WVU.
