Kiah Generette and
Blair Shankle were knocked out of the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships Thursday.
The BU duo, playing in the second round of the doubles main draw, were downed by the seventh-ranked pairing of Kendal Woodard and Paige Hourigan of Georgia Tech, 8-5.
Before the loss, Generette and Shankle upset 36th-ranked Viktoriya Lushkova and Carla Tur Mari of Oklahoma State, 8-3, to start the day and the main draw.
Generette and Shankle had won three matches in the qualifying draw to reach main draw.
