- Last time BU and SFA met was a 67-51 Bears win at home on Nov. 24, 2014, as the Bears have now won two consecutive games over the Lumberjacks.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Senior Taurean Prince had a well-rounded performance, including a career-high seven assists. Prince's assist mark tops a five assist performance against Kansas State on Feb. 21, 2015. Taurean added 10 points and seven rebounds in the winning effort.
- Senior Lester Medford finished with a game-high nine assists, adding 13 points on 5-7 shooting.
- Junior Ishmail Wainright posted a career-high in rebounds with nine boards, besting a six rebound performance against West Virginia on March 12, 2015. Wainright added eight points and six assists, both one off of matching career-high marks.
- Senior Rico Gathers with a game-high 18 points on 8-9 shooting, adding seven rebounds and a 2-3 outing from the free-throw line.
- Freshman King McClure had a solid first outing in a BU uniform, posting 11 points on 4-5 shooting.
- Sophomore Al Freeman dropped 11 points on 4-5 shooting, adding three rebounds and two assists.
