Nov. 13, 2015 WACO, Texas ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" The Baylor women's tennis team will compete in the UNLV Rebel Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev., Friday through Sunday. The tournament will take place at the Frank and Vicki Fertitta Tennis Complex this weekend.
Blair Shankle and Elizabeth Profit will compete for Baylor in both the singles and doubles draws. The event will also feature players from Idaho, LSU, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas A&M, UNLV and USC.
The tournament will commence with doubles action on Friday at 12 p.m. CT, followed by singles starting at 1 p.m. CT.
In the first round of doubles, the duo of Blair Shankle and Elizabeth Profit will face Texas A&M's team of freshman Domenica Gonzalez and sophomore Ines Deheza.
In singles, Shankle, a junior, will face Aleksandra Zenovka of TCU. Profit, a freshman, will take on Ryann Foster of LSU, a sophomore transfer from the University of Texas.
