LAS VEGAS, N.V. ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" The Baylor women's tennis team ended its fall season on Sunday with a pair of matches at the UNLV Rebel Invitational Sunday.
Playing in the third-place match of the doubles draw, Elizabeth Profit and Blair Shankle suffered an 8-6 setback to UNLV's Aiwen Zhu and Paola Artiga.
In singles action, Profit fell to 1-2 at the event with a 6-3, 6-4 lost to TCU's Sofiko Kadzhaya in the second flight's third-place match.
The 25th-ranked Shankle finished 1-1 at the event, after her third-place singles match in the first flight was not contested.
WHAT'S NEXT
The matches conclude Baylor's fall season. BU will return to action with its dual-match opener against Hawai'i on Jan. 9 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
