- Tonight's game marked the second round of the 16-team Preseason WNIT produced by Triple Crown Sports.
- Baylor will now face South Florida in the semifinals of the Preseason WNIT Nov. 19 in Waco, marking the program's third trip to the event's semifinals in its four appearances.
- Baylor is making its fourth appearance in the Preseason WNIT and first since 2011 ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" BU has hosted every Preseason WNIT game it has played in, posting a 10-2 record, and has won the event one time (2011).

- Freshman Kalani Brown set career highs with 10 points, seven rebounds, five blocks and one steal.
- Freshman Beatrice Mompremier had her first two career blocks and steals and first assist.
- Mompremier had career highs of nine points and seven rebounds.
- Senior Kristina Higgins tied a career high with two blocks.
- Junior Alexis Jones (10 points) had her 39th career double-figure scoring game and second in a BU uniform in as many games.
- Junior Nina Davis (10 points) had her 68th career game with 10 or more points and second in a row to start the season.
- Junior Alexis Prince (16 points) had her first game scoring in double figures this season (first points of season as well) and 15th of career.
- Sophomore Kristy Wallace (11 points) had her first double figure scoring game of the season and 11th career.
- Wallace tied a career high with six assists.
- Junior Khadijiah Cave had a career-high four steals.
