BAYLOR SELECTION SUNDAY QUOTES
Head Coach Scott Drew:
On the being named as a 3 seed:
"They showed a lot of respect for the Big 12. It shows they look at strength of schedule and RPI. We had the 3rd toughest schedule and 10th best RPI. We were able to get a lot of top 50 wins and cannot thank the Big 12 enough for that."
On Georgia State:
"Georgia State is a team that is very talented like any team in the field. I know Coach Hunter from back in the days when I was at Valparaiso and he was at IUPUI. They have Kevin Ware who was at Louisville and (Ryan) Harrow who was at Kentucky. Coach Hunter always has a talented team and he has done a great job with them.
On the Big 12 having 7 teams in the tournament:
"Seven teams in is the most of any conference and 70 percent of our league making the tournament is a tribute to great players, great institutions, and great crowd support."
On the West Region:
"Wisconsin and Arizona are stand-out teams and it is hard to argue with what those two teams have done all year."

Senior Guard Kenny Chery
On the team being named a 3 seed:
"It means a lot. Personally, I thought we were going to be a 4 seed. God blessed us. Now a lot of eyes will be on us and we will be expected to win. We will just go out there and take Georgia State as a big opponent and play some basketball."
On the team's zone defense:
"A lot of teams play man-to-man and not many teams face the zone. When they play the zone the game changes a little.
