WACO, Texas - Baylor's newly-crowned national champion Acrobatics & Tumbling team recently signed three student-athletes to National Letters of Intent during the late signing period. The trio joins eight others who signed during the early signing period in November. The 11-member freshman class of 2015-16 is first-year head coach Felecia Mulkey's first recruiting class.

"We feel like we have the strongest recruiting class in the NCATA this year. We are very excited about the talent and versatility we are bringing in. Baylor's future is bright," said Mulkey.

Kaylee Adams
Hails from China Spring, Texas, where she is a senior at China Spring High School ... Has eight years of gymnastics experience ... Is a high school competitive cheerleader and earned the team's best tumbler award ... Also competes in track, excelling in pole vault.

"Kaylee has great potential as a top and she's a powerful and technical tumbler. We are excited to have her and look forward to seeing her in several different events."

Kati Horstman
From Liberty Hill, Texas, is homeschooled ... Involved with all-star competitive cheerleading and United Dance ... Has coached cheerleading and was a Liberty Hill High School competitive cheerleader.

"Kati is a talented and versatile base who could compete in Acro toss and pyramid. She has clean technique and the potential for big passes in tumbling."

Lexus Nevins
Is a senior at Catalina Foothills High School in Tucson, Ariz. ... 12 years gymnastics experience and more recently as a competitive cheerleader ... Earned high school varsity letters in competitive cheer, tennis and diving.

"Lexus is a well-rounded athlete with potential to be very versatile as a top and base on the team."
