NCAA TOURNAMENT NOTES
- No. 1 seed Baylor opened its 14th consecutive NCAA Tournament with a first round victory, 119-30, over No. 16 seed Texas Southern.
- Baylor set NCAA Tournament records for points in a game (119 ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" regulation games only, not overtime), margin of victory (89 points), rebound margin (+41) and lowest opponent field goal percentage (13.8 percent).
- Baylor's 61 first half points equal the highest scoring half for the program in NCAA Tournament action. The Lady Bears also scored the most amount of points in a quarter in NCAA Tournament play with 34 in the first quarter.
- The Lady Bears are 40-13 (.755) all-time in the NCAA Tournament. Every NCAA Tournament game has come under the direction of head coach Kim Mulkey.
