
WT Pair Headed to College Station for ITA Texas Regionals

Sorokolet and Rakitskaya to represent Baylor
WACO, Texas – The Baylor women's tennis team will send two players to the ITA Texas Regionals in College Station, Texas this weekend on the campus of Texas A&M University at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
Junior Kristina Sorokolet and freshman Daria Rakitskaya will represent the Bears in the four-day event beginning Thursday.
Sorokolet has had a strong start to the fall season with a 7-2 mark on the year, including her 35th career victory at the H-E-B Invitational Oct. 7. Rakitskaya is in her first year with the program and has started the season at 2-3 on the singles court.
The pair will team up in doubles, but have yet to play with one another in competition. Fans can follow results on courthive.com.
The ITA Texas Regionals mark the last competition until the ITA National Fall Championships Nov. 6-10.
