No. 9 EQ Continues Big 12 Action Against No. 4 TCU

Bears will face the Horned Frogs in their Big 12 home opener Friday morning
WACO, Texas – No. 9 Baylor equestrian (2-2, 0-1 Big 12) will look to defend its home arena when fourth-ranked TCU (3-2, 1-0 Big 12) comes to town Friday morning at 11 a.m. at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
The Bears hold a 2-0 home record in 2019 and have not lost a Big 12 home meet since the 2017 season.
BU leads the all-time series against the Horned Frogs, 21-6. BU has taken the last three meetings against the Horned Frogs and has won five of the last six matchups.
TCU is 3-2 on the season and has recorded ranked wins over Fresno State and SMU. They defeated Big 12 opponent Fresno State, 12-7, on the road for their lone Big 12 win of the season.
The Bears are coming off a bye week but dropped a 14-5 decision at then-No. 3 Oklahoma State to open the Big 12 schedule on Oct. 18. Sydney Scheckel, Georgia Smith, Madison Day, Rachael Davis and Grace Thiel all scored points for the Bears on the road.
There will be live scoring for Friday's contest, and the link is on the Baylor equestrian schedule page at BaylorBears.com.
Free pony rides and a bounce house will be outside the arena for kids, and free candy will be given out while supplies last.
