- Baylor is 14-13 in 12 NCAA Tournament appearances, including an 11-7 mark in the Scott Drew era.
- Baylor won its 21 postseason game since 2009, tying Florida and Syracuse for the nation's 7th-most in that span.
- BU improved to 2-4 in NCAA Tournament games against higher-seeded teams.
- Baylor is 1-2 all-time against Syracuse and 7-5 when facing ACC opponents.
- Baylor is 33-19 in postseason tournaments (conference and national) over the last 11 seasons.
- Baylor improved to 57-30 against non-conference teams in road-neutral games during the Drew era, including 34-15 since 2011-12.

- Baylor broke the school record for 3-pointers in an NCAA Tournament game by going 16-for-34. The previous record was 11 made 3-pointers vs. Colorado in 2012 and vs. Creighton in 2014.
- Baylor's 16 made 3-pointers tied the 3rd-most in a game in program history and were the most since sinking 16 treys at TCU on Feb. 12, 2014.
- Only two Baylor players who played in Thursday's game had previous NCAA Tournament experience –King McClure (4 games at Baylor) and Makai Mason(2 games at Yale).
- Baylor shot .538 from the field, the Bears' 3rd-best field goal percentage in an NCAA Tournament game.
- BU extended the nation's 11th-longest active streak with at least one 3-point made in 902 straight games.
- Baylor started Makai Mason, Jared Butler, King McClure Mario Kegler and Mark Vital for the 10th time this season, and the Bears are 7-3 with that starting lineup.
