Top-ranked Bears finish season with 28-7 record

ORLANDO, Fla. – A historic season for Baylor men's tennis senior Jimmy Bendeck and Sven Lah concluded in Thursday's NCAA doubles quarterfinal match at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
The duo ultimately fell 6-4, 6-3 to No. 32 Niclas Braun and Giovanni Oradini of Mississippi State on court 11 after previously taking down pairs from UCF and Auburn the previous two days.
The pair finishes with a 28-7 record this season and 15-4 against ranked opponents.

HIGHLIGHTS
• Bendeck and Lah finish the season with a 28-7 record in doubles, posting the second-most victories in a single season and seventh-most all-time by a Baylor duo.
• Bendeck and Lah posted the most doubles wins by a Baylor duo since John Peers and Roberto Maytin went 36-6 during the 2010-11 season.
• Bendeck and Lah finish 15-4 against ranked opponents.
• Sven Lah finishes 30-9 in doubles matches this season and 50-12 in his career.
• Jimmy Bendeck finishes 29-8 in doubles this season and 77-39 in his career.
• In 2018-19, Bendeck and Lah claimed the school's first ITA All-American doubles title in October and were the program's first doubles pair to be ranked No. 1 in the regular season and NCAA Tournament.
