Andrews & Gusters earn spots on national all-star game
WACO, Texas – Baylor women's basketball 2020 class signees Sarah Andrews and Hannah Gusters were each selected to play in March's Jordan Brand Classic Friday.
The Jordan Brand Classic, now in its 19th year, will host elite level female and male high school senior basketball players as they take the big stage where Michael Jordan rose to legend status. For the first time the event will be held in Chicago at the Wintrust Arena with the girls game tipping at 6 p.m. March 27.
Andrews and Gusters are ranked No. 7 and No. 9, respectively on the 2020 ESPN HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings and will be joined by several of the nation's top high school players.
The pair are teammates at Irving MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas where the post, Gusters, averages 22 points and 10 rebounds, and the point guard, Andrews, averages 14 points and six assists.
Gusters and Andrews announced their national letters of intent to play basketball at Baylor Nov. 13.
