Bears close out regular season action against the Cowgirls
WACO, Texas – No. 9 Baylor equestrian (5-7, 2-3 Big 12) will face its third-straight top-10 opponent at home in its regular season finale when No. 2 Oklahoma State (8-3, 3-1 Big 12) comes to town on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Willis Family Equestrian Center.
The Bears will honor nine team members as part of Senior Day at the conclusion of the meet. The senior class includes two NCEA All-Americans in Madison Day and Grace Thiel.
"Tomorrow is a great opportunity to finish out our regular season on a high note," head coach Casie Maxwell said. "OSU has had a strong season, but we have a great opportunity to take them on at home tomorrow. It's always bittersweet on Senior Day as we celebrate a 'last' for this group, but it's also great motivation to the rest of team to send them out on a memorable note."
Fans will be able to shop at the Baylor Bookstore pop-up store during the meet, along with free pony rides and a bounce house.
Oklahoma State holds the all-time series lead, 25-13, over the Bears. BU defeated the Cowgirls in its last home meet by an 11-8 margin.
The Bears are looking to build off a dominant 13-3 win over South Dakota State in College Station last Friday. BU took home all four MOP honors during that meet.
