Bears and Mustangs Square off for the first time in four seasons
WACO, Texas – The No. 20-ranked Baylor women's tennis team will play host to SMU Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Hurd Tennis Center. The Bears are 5-1 on the season and the Mustangs are 4-2 entering into the match.
Baylor is coming off a 7-0 win over Abilene Christian Friday while the Mustangs last played Arkansas on the road Jan. 24 and fell to Arkansas, 5-2.
The Bears are 28-4 in singles matches this spring and 13-5 on the doubles court. Junior Livia Kraus leads Baylor with a 13-3 singles record, and she along with Mel Krywoj and Sara Ziodato are undefeated thus far in the spring. Baylor and SMU last played in April of 2017.
