Men’s Golf Wraps up Colonial Collegiate Invite

Johnny Keefer Leads the Bears in Penultimate Fall Event
FORT WORTH– Baylor men's golf finished 15th at the Colonial Collegiate Invitational with a three-round score of 42-over 882.
Johnny Keefer led the way individually with a 54-hole score of 3-over 213, which was good enough to tie for 20th. It was Keefer's second top-20 in three events this season.
After an even-par opening-nine, senior Mark Reppe shot a three-over 73 on Tuesday to finish in a tie for 51st at 11-over for the tournament.
Junior Luke Dossey led the way for the Bears on Tuesday with an even-par round of 70 highlighted by a birdie at No. 5 to close out the 'Horrible Horseshoe'. Dossey climbed up 12 spots in the final round to finish in a tie for 54th with a plus-12 222.
Freshman Zach Heffernan and junior Scout McNealy each shot 10-over 80's on Tuesday to finish out the tournament. Heffernan finished in a tie for 66th at plus-16 in his first collegiate event. McNealy finished in 74th in his first team event of his Baylor career.
Stanford won the team championship with a three-under 837 while Wake Forest's Michael Brennan took individual medalist honors with an 11-under par 199.
HIGHLIGHTS
