No. 15 WT Faces Off Against No. 2 Texas in Non-Conference Tilt Saturday

WACO, Texas – The No. 15-ranked Baylor Bears will play host to No. 2 Texas in a non-conference matchup Saturday at the Hurd Tennis Center. Baylor (11-1) will look to knock off the 9-1 Longhorns and avenge its only loss of the season when Texas beat the Bears, Jan. 24, 4-0, in Austin.

Baylor has seven-straight wins since the lone blemish on its schedule, and the Bears are coming off a non-conference win over TCU Thursday in Waco. Texas' (9-1) only loss of the season came to No. 1 North Carolina Feb. 7 in the third round of the ITA National Team Indoor in Stillwater, Okla., 4-3.

The Longhorns lead the all-time series 39-19, but since Joey Scrivano's arrival in 2003, Baylor leads the series, 19-10. Texas has had the upper hand lately with five-straight wins in the series, and the Bears' last win over Texas was April 12, 2017.
