
Men’s Golf Begins Postseason with Big 12 Championship

Bears are No. 5 seed in 10-team field
HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Baylor men's golf begins its postseason run at the 2021 Big 12 Men's Golf Championship, which runs Monday through Wednesday at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan.
The three-day, 72-hole event begins with two rounds Monday starting at 8 a.m. CT. Baylor is the tournament's No. 5 seed and is paired with No. 6 seed TCU for the first two rounds. Additional seeds are No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 2 Oklahoma State, No. 3 Texas, No. 4 Texas Tech, No. 7 Kansas, No. 8 Kansas State, No. 9 West Virginia and No. 10 Iowa State.
Baylor's lineup is led by a pair of seniors with Cooper Dossey in the No. 1 spot and Colin Kober at No. 2. Fourth-year junior Ryan Grider is at No. 3, followed by second-year freshman Johnny Keefer at No. 4 and fourth-year junior Mark Reppe at No. 5. Redshirt freshman Luke Dossey will serve as the Bears' alternate and can be subbed into the lineup between rounds.
Baylor tees off for Monday's first round at 8:22 a.m. CT from the 10th tee. Reppe is up first, and he'll be followed in nine-minute intervals by Keefer, Grider, Kober and Cooper Dossey, respectively. Pairings are in twosomes for both rounds on Monday. Teams are scheduled to play the third round Tuesday and a final round on Wednesday.
The tournament will be played on a par-70, 7,068-yard course at Prairie Dunes. This will mark the 13th time the Big 12 Championship has been played in Hutchinson, Kan., and first time since 2017. Baylor won the championship at Prairie Dunes in 2001 and finished sixth in 2017 in its lone appearance at Prairie Dunes under head coach Mike McGraw. Cooper Dossey played in the 2017 event and tied for 16th place individually.
