Bears look to remain on Texas’ heels in league standings
**In accordance with Big 12 Conference tennis match interruption guidelines, the match between Baylor and Kansas State scheduled for Friday, April 9, in Manhattan has been postponed.
The match has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 10 at 11:30 a.m.**
WACO, Texas – When Baylor and K-State play in women's tennis Thursday it will mark the end of a 12-day layoff for the No. 10-ranked Bears. The Wildcats (7-7, 2-3) will host Baylor (17-3, 4-1) at 3 p.m. at Mike Goss Tennis Stadium in Big 12 match play.
Texas is undefeated in the standings at 5-0 while Baylor and Texas Tech at 4-1 and 6-1, respectively, are looking to stay in the race for the Big 12 regular-season championship.
The Bears last played March 28 when Texas beat Baylor in Austin, 7-0. The Wildcats have won two of their last three matches with a 4-2 win at West Virginia, March 28 and a 4-3 win vs. in-state rival, Kansas, April 3.
