T&F: Inclement Weather Halts Meet at Texas A&M

Next up for the Bears is the Big 12 Outdoor Championship May 14-16 in Manhattan, Kan.
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Due to inclement weather, the Texas A&M Alumni Muster was canceled Saturday evening at E.B. Cushing Stadium.
With rain already falling, Tuesdi Tidwell and Alex Kubicek were able to complete the women's pole vault and finish 1-2 in the process. Tidwell took home the victory with a jump of 14-1.25 (4.30m), while Kubicek finished as the runner-up at 12-11.5 (3.95m).
In the women's long jump, Caira Pettway placed seventh with a mark of 19-6.75 (5.96m).
Running events, originally scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., were pushed back to 7:30 p.m. before the meet was officially cancelled at 6:40 p.m.
