We Will Master Fundamentals and Pursue Excellence

            As a former member of the Golden Wave Marching Band, Hannah Steed brings a "unique perspective" to her role as assistant director of BaylorVision.

            Steed, who graduated from Baylor University in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in film and digital media, has done her best to master fundamentals and pursue excellence while working closely with the Marketing and Fan Engagement team and Baylor Bear Sports Properties.

            "You have made such an incredible impact on Baylor Athletics," said Erin Bean, Assistant AD for Strategic Marketing and Fan Engagement. "I think you bring such a unique perspective as a former member of the Golden Wave Marching Band. Baylor fans have the best experience because of your creativity and ability to adjust on the fly. And you make our team genuinely better each and every home event."

            As a game day producer, Steed produces the video board shows for volleyball and men's and women's basketball at the Ferrell Center, as well as football. She has also gone above and beyond in directing BaylorVision broadcasts.

            Chris Humphreys, Senior Director of BaylorVision, said Hannah has "an infectious positivity, which is really essential for the number of people we have on the BaylorVision crews."
            "You really have to know your stuff and be in charge of a crew," Humphreys said, "but in a way that's positive and motivating. She has done a fantastic job at that, but has never become complacent. She wants to get better at that and pursue excellence."

            In Ephesians 2:10, it says, "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

            Working with Baylor Bear Sports Properties, Hannah has done "everything from the little assets of fulfilling signage to producing big events for us," said Arish Bheraiya, Coordinator of Partner Services with BBSP.

            "You're a great presence around, and you're always happy, excited and a team player," Bheraiya said. "Whenever we have a request, whether it's last-minute or super far in advance, (Hannah) is always on top of it and helping us out."
