T&F Officially Opens Outdoor Season in Fort Worth

WACO, Texas – Baylor track and field officially opens its outdoor season this Friday and Saturday at the TCU Invitational in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Lowden Track and Field Complex.
Discus throw will be the only event on Friday afternoon, while the rest of the meet will be held on Saturday.
The Bears will be sending 61 student-athletes to Fort Worth, and are set to compete against TCU, UNT, UT Arlington, SMU, Northwestern State and Oklahoma.
Baylor, fresh off of its indoor season, landed 24 athletes to All-Big 12 honors at the conference meet, with one All-American honor last weekend at nationals.
Results and a meet schedule will both be available online throughout the competition.
