No. 26 WT Continues Big 12 Play at No. 20 Iowa State, West Virginia

Bears look to build off 2-0 start
WACO, Texas – No. 26 Baylor women's tennis hits the road to continue Big 12 play with contests scheduled at No. 20 Iowa State (11-0, 0-0) and at West Virginia (7-7, 0-0). The Bears will face Iowa State at 3 p.m. in Ames before traveling to Morgantown to face the Mountaineers at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Baylor is coming off a 2-0 Big 12 opening weekend last week with back-to-back sweeps over TCU and No. 34 Texas Tech. The Bears look to start conference play 4-0 for the fourth time in program history and the second-straight year.
Baylor is 25-1 all-time against the Cyclones with the lone loss coming in April of 2019. Iowa State currently boasts a program-record 23-match home winning streak.
The Cyclones are coming off back-to-back ranked wins over No. 42 Wisconsin and No. 47 Memphis.
West Virginia, like Iowa State, is also opening its Big 12 slate this week. The Mountaineers will host Texas before taking on the Bears Sunday morning. Baylor is 8-0 all-time against West Virginia.
The Bears are led by No. 5 Mel Krywoj and Alicia Herrero in doubles. The duo is 11-2 this spring.
Isabella Harvison – who is 5-3 on court one this season – was named the Big 12 Player of the Week on Monday after she upset No. 20 Margarita Skriabina (Texas Tech).
