Bears will make their first appearance in the event since 2019
WACO, Texas – Baylor men's golf will be back in action on Monday when the Bears tee it up at the All-American Intercollegiate at the Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas.
The Bears have recorded top-two finishes in each of their last three starts in the All-American, including a tie for second in their previous visit in 2019.
"We always enjoy this event and love the golf course, which for years played host to the Shell Houston Open," head coach Mike McGraw said. "Mark Reppe has had a top-five finish there in the past. Looking forward to a great event."
Reppe will be a part of an experienced contingent at the top of the lineup spearheaded by Johnny Keefer playing out of the No. 1 spot for the seventh-straight event. Keefer is coming off a school-record 8-under 63 in the final round of the Cabo Collegiate.
A senior from Dallas, Reppe is making his third start at the All-American, including a career-best tie for fourth in 2019. He is coming off a 1-under 70 in the final round of the Cabo Collegiate and has had at least one round at par or better in four of his five stroke-play events this year.
Sophomore Trey Bosco will make his third-straight start in the lineup and will play out of the No. 3 spot. Bosco is coming off the Cabo Collegiate, where he set his career-best 54-hole score with a 2-over par 215.
Luke Morgan will make his fourth-straight start at the No. 4 spot in the lineup. The sophomore has shot par or better in five of his six stroke-play events this season.
Freshman Zach Heffernan will return to the No. 5 spot in the lineup after shooting a pair of even-par rounds at the Cabo Collegiate his last time out.
Tyler Isenhart will make his third start of the season as an individual. He finished in a tie for 43rd at the Border Olympics last month, marking his best finish of the season.
The tournament will begin with an 8:00 a.m. CT shotgun start on Monday morning. Live stats can be found on golfstat.com. For more information on Baylor Men's Golf, follow @BaylorMGolf on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
