STORYLINES
LEADING OFF
• Baylor continues its stretch of six games in eight days with midweek matchups against Lamar and Sam Houston on Monday and Tuesday, before heading to Austin for a three-game series at Texas over the weekend.
• BU currently sits in seventh place in the Big 12 standings at 4-8 in conference play, with 4 Big 12 series remaining.
• Baylor's pitching staff did not walk a batter in any of the three games against Kansas.
• The Bears had allowed at least one free pass in 31 of its other 32 games this season.
• BU's defense did not commit an error in the three-game series against the Jayhawks and has only committed one in the last six games.
