Bears are facing the Lumberjacks for the second time this season

• Baylor Softball is hosting Stephen F. Austin in a midweek matchup at Getterman Stadium Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m.
• The Bears and Lumberjacks are meeting for the second time this season, after previously facing off in February at SFA. The Bears won the contest 7-3, continuing a five-game win streak. BU holds the all-time series over SFA 38-19.
• Baylor (25-19) have now won eight of their last ten games. The Bears took the three-game weekend series over Texas Tech last weekend, shutting out the Red Raiders in the first two games before falling in the series finale.
• The Lumberjacks (25-19) defeated Tarleton last weekend in a three-game series, 2-1. They now have a 15-3 conference record.
• Dariana Orme pitched two complete games last week, a nine-inning midweek game and a complete-game shutout Friday. She set new career highs in last week's midweek, for innings pitched (9.0) and strikeouts (9).
•The Bears are currently sitting at 57 in the NCAA RPI rankings. All seven Big 12 schools currently rank in the top 100 RPI rankings.
• Last week, the Bears pitching carried them through four games as their bats cooled off from the 21 hits the week before.
BEARS IN THE BIG 12 RANKINGS
• McKenzie Wilson still ranks first in the Big 12 with five triples on the season, she has not been passed all season long. Her .406 season batting average still leads the Bears as well as her 25 RBI. Also in the Big 12, Wilson is sixth in batting average (.406), third in hits (52) and first for stolen bases (23).
• Baylor as a team is third in the conference in team pitching and fourth in team batting. BU is also leading the league in sacrifice bunts (22).
• McKenzie Wilson is 1st in percentage reached as a leadoff batter with .634, while Emry McDonough is batting 1.000 with the bases loaded.
• Josie Bower is leading the league in hit by pitches (9), while Taylor Strain leads in sacrifice bunts (8).
• As a pinch hitter, Katie Ellington is batting 1.000.
