No. 11/No. 17 Baylor T&F Closes Regular Season at LSU Invitational

WACO, Texas – Baylor track and field heads to the bayou for the LSU Invitational this Saturday, with action beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Bernie Moore Stadium in Baton Rouge, La.
The Bears will stack up against Alabama, Alcorn State, Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Meridian Community College, New Orleans, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas, along with a host of professional athletes.
Baylor squads sit with men ranked No. 11 and women No. 17 in the latest edition of the T&F Rating Index Poll distributed by USTFCCCA. Jayson Baldridge and Chinecherem Prosper Nnamdi hold the top national marks in their respective events, both set last weekend at the Michael Johnson Invitational in Waco. Mariah Ayers, Ackera Nugent, Nathaniel Ezekiel, Johnny Brackins and the women's 4x400-meter relay also join them in the national top-10.
Saturday's meet acts as a last tune-up for the Bears before the postseason, with the conference meet beginning May 13 at Texas Tech in Lubbock.
DeltaTiming will be providing live results that can be accessed online and the meet will not be streamed. Due to a Garth Brooks concert taking place next door at Tiger Stadium, parking is extremely limited. Please visit lsusports.net for up-to-date meet day information.
