The Bears will close preseason play on Saturday at 4 p.m. against the Aggies
WACO, Texas – The Baylor volleyball squad is set to finish out the preseason with an exhibition match against Texas A&M on Saturday with a 4 p.m. start time in the Ferrell Center and is free admission.
The Bears are coming off Wednesday's Green and Gold scrimmage, where all 15 players saw playing time. Assistant coaches Yajaira Cadet and Joshua Walker were coaching the green and gold squads under head coach Ryan McGuyre's eye.
Fifth-year senior Mallory Talbert is a grad transfer from Texas A&M, which faced BU in an exhibition match in the spring. The Bears went down to College Station last august for a preseason exhibition as well.
The 2022 Baylor squad consists of three seniors, one junior, four sophomores, two redshirt freshmen and five true freshmen.
McGuyre is in his eighth season as head coach of the Bears and has a career record of 154-56 while at BU.
Season and single-game tickets are on sale for the 2022 volleyball season, available for purchase here. The ticketing setup has shifted from years past, now using the same format employed by men's basketball.
