
Baylor Athletics Announces Coach’s Show & Radio Affiliates

WACO, Texas -- With the football season opener next week, Baylor Athletics and Baylor Bear Sports Properties have announced the complete fall schedule for the Baylor Coach's Show, set to start with the Dave Aranda Season Preview on Aug. 31 at Rudy's Country Store & Bar-B-Q.
The show will run from 7-8 p.m. on Wednesdays throughout the season, airing live from Rudy's in Waco on the week of home games at McLane Stadium. The Coach's Show will also feature special guests throughout the fall, including other Baylor head coaches for the first half of the show.
The show will open on Aug. 31 and also include live shows at Rudy's on Sept. 14, Sept. 28, Oct. 19, Nov. 9 and No. 16. The show will also air on Sept. 7, Sept. 21, Oct. 5, Oct. 12, Oct. 26, Nov. 2 and Nov. 23 on ESPN Central Texas.
With football head coach Dave Aranda, volleyball head coach Ryan McGuyre will join the show on Sept. 7, with soccer head coach Michelle Lenard set for Sept. 14, cross country coach David Barnett joining on Sept. 21 and softball head coach Glenn Moore set for Sept. 28.
All shows will air live on the flagship station of Baylor Athletics, ESPN Central Texas, KRZI 1660 AM/92.3 FM and online at www.1660espn.com. The show will also be streamed live on KCEN-TV's website and Facebook page.
John Morris, the "Voice of the Bears" and the 2019 Texas Co-Sportscaster of the Year, will host the shows, while also continuing his legacy in the booth on play-by-play duties in his 28th season calling Baylor football and his 36thseason overall covering the Bears. Also returning for the game broadcast team are Baylor Athletics Hall of Famers J.J. Joe and Ricky Thompson. Joe is in his 19th season providing analysis while Thompson will handle sideline coverage for his 23rd season. Bob Baker is in his 10th season as the broadcast engineer, Jeff Walter provides statistical and spotting input and Dave Shook serves as the studio host.
Football broadcasts will begin two hours prior to kickoff with the Baylor Alumni Tailgate Show on 1660 AM and live on KCEN-TV with additional affiliates set to carry the final 30 minutes of pregame with the Baylor Countdown to Kickoff.
Game affiliates for the 2022 football season including stations in Austin (KTXW; 1120 AM and 101.1 FM), Dallas (KWRD 100.7 FM), East Texas (KIVY 92.7 FM), Houston (KNTH 1070 AM), San Antonio (KSLR 630 AM and KLUP 930 AM). In addition to the flagship station in Waco (KRZI 1660 AM), fans can hear the games live on BaylorBears.com via the Varsity Network and TuneIn apps and through national broadcasts on Sirius/XM Radio.
Baylor also produces live radio play-by-play broadcast of men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball games in addition to the Baylor Coach's Show.
