
WT Hosts ITA Regionals Beginning Thursday

The Bears welcome individuals from over 20 Division I programs from Texas to Waco
WACO, Texas – Baylor women's tennis continues its fall slate as individuals from more than 20 Division I institutions travel to Waco for the ITA Texas Regional, Oct. 12-16.
Tournament play begins at 8 a.m. Thursday morning and will conclude with the final round on Monday. All matches are set to be played at the Hurd Tennis Center with the consolation matchups at Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center. Admission to the five-day event is free for all fans and exact match times can be found on the tournament central page.
The Bears have four individuals competing in the event in Sierra Berry, Isabella Harvison, Liubov Kostenko and Brooke Thompson. Berry and Harvison will compete in doubles action while Kostenko and Thompson will link up for their doubles matches.
Kostenko and Thompson have both already competed this fall after starting the year with a combined five singles and doubles victories at the H-E-B Invitational, Sept. 29-Oct. 1. Harvison is coming off an impressive 20-9 singles record last season and will look to continue her success in her fifth year. Berry, an all-conference transfer from the University of South Florida, will be making her Baylor debut at the regional.
